On the morning of April 27, the 2022 Q2 centralized commencement of major projects in Hubei Province was held via video. Jingzhou set up a branch venue at the site of Wintrue Holdings Project in Songzi City. Following the province's centralized commencement event, Jingzhou held a Q2 centralized commencement ceremony for major projects. 

In Q2, Jingzhou started 207 projects with a total investment of RMB 86.4 billion, including 131 major projects involving amount over RMB 100 million, totaling RMB 82.5 billion. Songzi City is ranked first in Jingzhou City by virtue of a total investment of RMB 24.452 billion. The Wintrue Holdings Central China New Energy Materials Production Base Project, with a total investment of RMB 10.6 billion, is the largest single investment project in Songzi City. By investment fields, major projects of more than RMB 100 million include: 89 advanced manufacturing projects with a total investment of RMB 57.6 billion; 23 infrastructure projects with a total investment of RMB 15.2 billion ; 7 modern service projects with a total investment of RMB 5 billion; 8 projects for improving people's livelihood with a total investment of RMB 4.19 billion; 1 ecological and environmental protection project with a total investment of RMB 100 million; and 3 modern agricultural projects with a total investment of RMB 410 million. The smooth commencement of these projects will provide a strong guarantee for Jingzhou City to properly fight a three-dimensional investment battle and make a sprint for the annual targets and tasks. It will also inject strong momentum into the construction of a regional central city in central Hubei Province. 

At the commencement ceremony, the responsible comrade from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission introduced the Q2 centralized commencement of major projects in the city. The responsible comrade of Songzi City delivered a speech and reported the centralized commencement of local major projects. 

The centralized commencement event was held simultaneously in all counties and cities. Responsible comrades of Jingzhou District, Gong'an County, Honghu City and Jingzhou Development Zone reported the centralized commencement of local major projects by video.
